Pipeline pigs are used to perform maintenance operations inside of pipelines, without stopping the flow within the product pipeline. The standard Ultra-Seal Pig has flat, polyurethane elastomer discs on each end. This is the optimum design for dewatering, batching of dissimilar products, and for fluid removal in pipelines of all sizes and pipe materials. The Ultra-Seal can also altered to include a EZ launch nose for vertical launchers or low flow situations. The Ultra-Seal can be modified to accommodate transmitters, magnets and/or radioactive sources. The Ultra-Seal can also be outfitted with pull straps to make pig removal easier.
The Ultra-Seal Lite Pig is a hand-crafted, custom-built pig. The specific design and materials for each pig are determined by the configuration of the pipeline and operational requirements of the pig. Typically the Ultra-Seal Lite Pig is used for dewatering and fluid control in multi-dimensional pipelines. Ultra-Seal Lite pigs can be modified to accommodate transmitters, magnets and/or radioactive sources. Ultra-Seal Lite pigs can also be outfitted with pull straps to make pig removal easier.
The Hand-Launch Pig is an easy to use, one size fits all pipe of its' diameter - a 6" Hand-Launch Pig can be inserted, by hand, into all 6" pipe, from Class 50 Ductile Iron Pipe to 6" Schedule 160 Steel Pipe. The Hand-Launch Pig is a single-piece, bi-directional pig manufactured with long-wearing urethane foams. Hand-Launch Pigs are available in both medium and heavy density urethane foam. The OptionAll™ Pig is designed for light cleaning, line filling, dewatering, batch separation and liquid removal. The replaceable cups and discs make special configurations easy and its low cost gives users the option to dispose of or rebuild the pig after hard use.
Removes Tough Deposits, Won’t Damage the Pipe Wall
The Black Belt is outfitted with urethane blades molded into the foam for maximum scraping power. The tough urethane blades are great for paraffin removal. The urethane blades make it the perfect choice for plastic or internally coated pipelines, where traditional brush pigs cannot be used. The Black Belt is available in both medium and heavy density urethane foam. The Black Belt can be modified to accommodate transmitters, magnets and/or radioactive sources. The Black Belt can also be outfitted with ropes or pull straps to make pig removal easier.
This Silicone Carbide pig offers a "sandpaper" effect on the pipe wall and is great for loosening dirt and scale build-up often found in water lines. The Silicone Carbide pigs are available in both medium and heavy density urethane foam. The Silicone Carbide pigs can be modified to accommodate transmitters, magnets and/or radioactive sources. The Silicone Carbide pigs can also be outfitted with ropes or pull straps to make pig removal easier.
The standard HZ pig consists of a steel body with the brushes mounted on cantilever style leaf springs and (2) neoprene or polyurethane cups. This aggressive brush pig can be fitted with cups, discs or cup/disc combinations, gauging plate, transmitter, magnets and ring brushes. The brush bristles are available in carbon steel, stainless steel and prostran. The steel bristles are available in flat or round wire or substituted with pencil brushes.
Metal studs are set in this foam pig for aggressive removal of hard scale deposits. Due to their aggressiveness, the metal stud pig is to be used with caution and only in the most extreme circumstances. The metal stud pig can be modified to accommodate transmitters, magnets and/or radioactive sources. The metal stud pig can also be outfitted with pull ropes to make pig removal easier.
These steel-bodied scraper pigs are outfitted with neoprene discs instead of urethane. Neoprene has certain qualities and advantages over urethane. Although not as wear-resistant, neoprene generally has a longer shelf-life than urethane and will not crack or get brittle with exposure to the sun. This makes neoprene ideal if you have short pig runs and wish to re-use the pig over the next 3-4 years.
GBD Pigs are designed for Bidirectional operation. For batching, displacement, hydrostatic testing and paraffin removal. Available with 2, 3 or 4 polyurethane discs. Steel wire brushes optional. Pig transmitter mounting optional. GBD pigs have a Center Hole Configuration up to 16" and a bolt hole pattern for sizes larger than 16

GBC pigs have a Center Hole Configuration up to 16" and a bolt hole pattern for sizes larger than 16".
The Enduro Dual-Diameter Pigs are designed to withstand the heavier wear due to multi-dimensional pipe. This pig provides cleaning action and has proven to hold a great seal through multi-diameter lines. Design may be varied to specific line needs; i.e. bend radius requirement, valve bowl lengths etc. and can also be outfitted with brushes specially designed for multi-diameter cleaning.
Enduro's pig train employs the Pig Link concept which allows various configurations and adaptations of cups, discs, and body links. The flexibility of the polyurethane body link allows the pig to pass bend radius as small as one diameter even when attached to additional link sections.
WCK Pigs come equipped with tempered steel wire brushes and urethane cups. The dual diameter WCK Pigs for cleaning multiple sizes of pipe are equipped with steel wire brushes and discs. An outlet port at the front end of the WCK Pigs provides fluid bypass to prevent piling of loosened material.
VANTAGE® V Cleaning Pigs are multi-use pigs equipped with either scraper discs/cups, cups, brushes or blade cleaning elements. The VANTAGE® V is offered in eight different cleaning configurations. All cups and discs are replaceable and can be interchanged or reconfigured.
Soluble pigs are solid sphere shaped balls or cylinder shaped plugs. Oil soluble pigs contain micro-crystalline wax, paraffin inhibitor and pour point depressant. Water soluble pigs contain a water-soluble surfactant and corrosion inhibitor.
Soluble pigs are used to clean out paraffin deposits and other unwanted accumulations inside of pipes.
Soluble pigs (oil-soluble type) contain paraffin inhibitor and pour point depressant. The residual traces of inhibitor help prevent re-deposition of paraffin for a short period of time. The pour point depressant helps the oil that contacts the pig flow easier at lower temperatures.
Soluble pigs can be used in any length lines and are very inexpensive as compared to other pipeline pigs. Pigs do not interfere with other production and pipeline chemicals.
The dissolving rate of pigs is a function of fluid temperature, relative fluid movement, friction, and absorb ability of the crude. These conditions vary greatly with each system. The melting point for our standard pig is about 145F. Special-order melt point pigs range from 125F to 180F. All pigs will dissolve in fluids with temperatures below their melting point (just at a slower rate). Some fluid movement past the pig is necessary to dissolve the pigs if the fluid temperature is below the pig’s melting point.
The number of pigs to be used is based on the amount of accumulation, length of pipe, temperature of fluid and other factors. Regular periodic pigging is recommended to keep lines clean and prevent paraffin from becoming too hard or thick to remove.￼
