Gauge Plates
Running a set of Gauge Plates through your line is an economical way to show if there are serious reductions in the line that are impeding flow. Perhaps the most common use of gauge plates is to determine whether or not there are reductions or bends in a line that would prohibit a SMART Pig from making a pass in the line. DP keeps a wide range of gauge plates in stock and will also manufacture plates to fit your specific gauging needs.
Attributes
• Available in sizes 4" - 48"
• Can be mounted to almost any pig except some of the 2lb foam pigs
• Can be coated with urethane to protect internally coated pipe
• Plate thickness: 1/8" - 3/8"
• Slots can be added for less resistance
• Can be made for 1.5d, 2d, 3d bends (figures are approximations and can vary according to placement on pig)
