Pig Trackers are used when there is a requirement to follow the pig along its path for fear of problems, such as another pig stuck or unkown reductions in the line. The pig is outfitted with a transmitter or pinger and emits a signal through the pipe wall, ground and water. Transmitters are either electromagnetic or acoustic.
