Pipeline Bends

Below is a basic diagram showing how a standard steel bodied Disc-Cup pig may move through different radius bends. Also shown on the pig are gauge plates which would give the operator some indication as to what sort of bends he/she may have in the line as well as any possible reductions in the line.

* Keep in mind that different pig designs will have an effect on how the pig moves through the bends.
